Stock Archive is thrilled to present the new 2010 FITC event video. Stock-Archive.com and Victory Arts produced this slick little video. This masterpiece that was made possible with hours and hours of shooting on location for several days during the FITC event in Toronto. Back in Ottawa, there were many more sleepless nights behind the computer to finish the post production. A huge thank you to Will Reid, Director of photography and content at Stock-Archive.com and Victory Arts who busted his ass to make this video as slick as it is.

Each year Stock-Archive and Victory Arts makes time to work with the United Way Ottawa, to produce their campaign video and photos. It is a good cause and we are proud to have helped for over 4 years now. This years theme is "reDISCOVER COMMUNITY. What do you want your community to be?" Think about the message, think about how you can help in your community. Every little bit helps and it is for a great cause. While it has only been a few days since you left on your journey back home to Japan, your presences is already missed here at Stock Archive and Victory Arts.
For those of you who think you don't know Masayo, there is a good chance you know her because of her amazing work. Masayo produced endless amounts of quality illustrations, photos and motion graphics for us here at www.Stock-Archive.com and www.victoryarts.com.
Masayo came to us from Algonquin college where she was graduating from the Graphic Design program. We got a call from the Graphic Design Coordinator one day before co-op started asking if we had room for one more student. We said yes and boy are we glad we did. Masayo proved to be a major asset to our illustration portion of the archive. Masayo has pumped out hundreds if not thousands of amazing illustrations for the archive, illustrations you for you to take advantage of each week on our free promotional site and our later once we launch. Each conference we've attended people would always stop and comment that the illustration was amazing! We agree it is amazing because Masayo is amazing! Ooops we did it again. Just finished the video that we produced for the FITC 2009 [ www.fitc.ca ] conference in Toronto. This event was huge and much larger than last year. It certainly lead to some good times for sure! We were thrilled to be asked back again to capture and cut the video for FITC Toronto 2009. Essentially our mandate was to cover the event and produce a highlight video that pretty much mashes together 4 days of amazing speakers into a 3 minute video of the event along with its parties, the presentations and the amazing "Get a Job" event. The challenge for us this year was how do we make it look different than last years video. This year the theme was "Outside the lines", Joshua Davis [ http://www.joshuadavis.com ] created the 2009 theme for FITC this year, We wanted to compliment the creative idea but also give it our own little edge. Instead of giving it a slick "glossy" production value we decided to keep it a little more "gritty" and "raw" in style and flavour.... we think it worked out just fine. Check it out for yourself.

Yea we are big fans of FITC and Erin Kelly the FITC events operations manager who might we say, organized a flawless event in Toronto and a number of other FITC events put on all around the world. Stock Archive was a sponsor of the event in Toronto last year. Our creative division Victory Arts [ www.victoryarts.com ] produced some content for them while we were there to capture some of the energy and events. We highly recommend visiting the FITC website [ www.fitc.ca ] and attending their events. Amazing speakers, super talented people, wicked parties and great inpsiration.

Also... a special thanks to some creative folks who helped in the creation of the video we thank Bryan Parnell, Steve Capyk, Masayo Shimizu and of course to Kyle Skinner for hosting and assisting during the event... and even though Will Reid is already part of the group and would essentially be thanking himself we thank him again for lugging the SteadyCam for 3 days straight.
