In light of the new addition to the family, our programmer will be taking some time off to spend with the new family. We unfortunately will have push out the launch date by a few weeks. Back by popular demand.... well, we just posted a version on youtube that was better than the earlier version we posted using the blogger video tool. We figured we'd re-post the video. If you haven't seen this video, It is worth watching. Jennifer Scrivens is a talented photographer from Ottawa that just finished an amazing photo exhibit at the Ottawa Arts Court. If you didn't make it out this time you better hit it up next time. Her work is amazing. She pretty much rocks our world.
Wow thanks for the amazing feedback on the vector aquatic illustrations (Illustrated by our very own Masayo Shimizu who just sadly moved back to Japan. We miss her already! She will be featured as our next Hero so check her out).
Some of you were asking for a photo with goldfish and water bubbles.... yes, we do have blue water also. But who says that water always has to be blue? Blue is so 1989. We are 2009 and we are red hot right now we added some red water and orange gold fish to the bowl. Take a chance and see what happens. Pretty cool if you ask me. These amazing photos were done for us by an intern who Masayo introduced to us. Madoka Nemoto came all the way from Japan a year ago today to intern with us for a month. She did some amazing and unique photos. We'll feature Madoka in the up coming weeks. For now enjoy the images.

Ooops we did it again. Just finished the video that we produced for the FITC 2009 [ www.fitc.ca ] conference in Toronto. This event was huge and much larger than last year. It certainly lead to some good times for sure! We were thrilled to be asked back again to capture and cut the video for FITC Toronto 2009. Essentially our mandate was to cover the event and produce a highlight video that pretty much mashes together 4 days of amazing speakers into a 3 minute video of the event along with its parties, the presentations and the amazing "Get a Job" event. The challenge for us this year was how do we make it look different than last years video. This year the theme was "Outside the lines", Joshua Davis [ http://www.joshuadavis.com ] created the 2009 theme for FITC this year, We wanted to compliment the creative idea but also give it our own little edge. Instead of giving it a slick "glossy" production value we decided to keep it a little more "gritty" and "raw" in style and flavour.... we think it worked out just fine. Check it out for yourself.

Yup, Jennifer Scrivens is one cool cat and our hero. This girl came to us as a volunteer intern helping scout locations, props and talent. She has since picked up the camera and been taking shots for Stock-Archive.com and for that we are forever grateful. It has been a sincere pleasure having you work with us and look forward to more of your amazing photos and creative ideas. Check out some of her shots she took in NYC for us. ...but it can also be sooo rad. This is our Stock Archive Christmas party "2000-87". Some of these people were in diapers (or not even born yet) during that "unique" yet embarrassing decade. But to my delight everyone styled it up as if they were there. I'm proud of our team for this photo but also for all the amazing work they've done for Stock Archive over the past year. It is sincerely appreciated and it has been an honor working with all of you. (Also a special thank you to those who could not make the photo, Linda, Annika, Lauren, Kenn, Alex, Madoka and Steve. Thanks again for all the great work.)
