Good Question > Images on Stickers

We had a good question from one of our members yesterday. She attended the FITC Event and picked up some of our sweet swag. We had a bunch of wicked buttons and skater stickers. They asked if the images on the stickers were part of our stock archive collection to license. The answer is yes! Here is the link to the skater image files, and we also included some matching surfer dudes and chicks. The XL file is in Vector format which is a single file download, however if you are an illustration or dual subscription member, you can download any Small, Medium or Large file on-demand for the duration of your term. Good Question > "Credit"

One of our members asked if they can use the audio tracks for their demo reel and asked what type of credit recognition, if any is needed.

The answer to the question is, no official credit is required on the demo reel (provided you are not implying that you created the music yourself). That wouldn't be cool. We certainly do welcome and appreciate any credit given. Something like "Photos by Stock-Archive.com" or "Audio by Stock-Archive.com" if possible.

We hope you are all enjoying the benefits of the free content. Sharing the love back to us with credit is a nice thing to do and we thank you sincerely if you choose to do so. For us, we don't have a marketing budget... but we do have our amazing and valued members who say nice things about us. Besides, we know you'll produce award winning work with our content all we ask is to be remembered when you make it big.

Free Images: Butterflies and beauties

Next week's free upload will be "Butterflies and beauties". The content should be up early next week (Week of July 6).

From time to time we get people requesting some images. We'd love to be able to get every request out to each of you, but time, (lack thereof) kinda stops that from happening. We do however from time to time randomly select from the list of member requests in order to help out as best we can. One recent request by one of our members was for Butterflies. It seemed rather urgent, so, we spent the weekend and gathered a variety of styles and formats for this person and hope these images will help with what they were looking for. We also think these will give you some great possibilities with your projects too! There are Vector images, Raster images, Raster images with clipping paths and some HD clips with butterflies.... so go nuts!

We now have over 2000 free promotional images available to pre-registered users. Once we launch we will have over 60,000 images, illustrations, motion, audio and flash elements to choose from. We're dead meat!

YUP! We are dead meat alright. We know thousands of you are coming to get your free images this week and they are not up yet! Yikes.... I now know what it feels like to have a bulls-eye painted on your back.... So for that we are sorry. We do however have a great excuse... one that we think you will forgive us for. We have been so busy testing the site and getting the content ready for the launch that we didn't have time to get the Free content up for this week yet. Now, it is coming and should be up this week. You'll also be happy to know that even once we launch the Free site will still be there for you to get and use as part of our promotional campaign. When is the actual launch? Great question! We don't want to give an exact date but it is very soon. We are in the final testing stage and have about another 20,000 stock elements to prep.

Good question - Great answer

We got an email from one of our members asking a great question and we thought we'd share it with you incase you wondered yourself and were just too afraid or lazy to ask.

The good question:

"The images are free... but what about after the launch? Will we have to pay for the images we use once the site is launched?"

The great answer:

 No you will not have to pay for the free promotional images after the site launches. Free is free. These are promotional images that we have up to showcase the types of content that we will have in our site once we do launch the site. We figured this was a nice way for people to get to know us, remember us and hopefully spread the word about how useful our content is.

Our end goal is that we hope you'll become subscription member or purchase files on a "single pay-per-download" once the site is live. 

Another good question.... When is the site launching??? .... soon we hope. We are just in the middle of our testing stage.
