Free Images: Holiday Classics

To all our members we wish you and your families have a wonderful holiday break. I know our staff and team need to take a good long break and not look at another photo-edit, keyword, line of code or programming... let alone a computer.

For all those "last minute" people who haven't put a holiday card together yet, we got you covered. Try using these eight amazing vector files to build a wicked graphic like the one you see above.... ("Our Christmas card" that we are sending out). So there you go. Proof is in the rice pudding. Enjoy the images, tell your friends about us. Heck, give them the best gift and tell them about our 2,000 free images.... seriously is that not the best gift you could give. Heck ya!

Images should be up over the weekend.

We now have over 2000 free promotional images available to pre-registered users. Once we launch we will have over 60,000 images, illustrations, motion, audio and flash elements to choose from. Big fans of : Graffiti Research lab

http://graffitiresearchlab.com/

We can respect good quality graffiti and support the artists that take it seriously. Done right it is amazing. Were not big fans of random tagging that are littered throughout our streets. However, as objective as we can be, we can only see it as a stepping stone for some of these artists who mature and put their skills to use for good and evolve the next advancements in our society because these people are passionate about what they do. Passion drives creativity which builds progress and advances our future leaders.

The Graffiti Research Lab is a great example to show the general public that sometimes the people just trying to express themselves are the people who will use their minds for progression and good causes to advance our world or to help inspire those who are less fortunate. We present " The EyeWriter."

Hero > Kyle Skinner

Kyle Skinner, A.K.A, Sinestro, A.K.A, Manni Quinn, A.K.A, David E. Allen, and A.B.Original, A.K.A, Kyle 2.0, A.K.A, our featured hero this month. So who is this masked man?

Kyle is one of the most talented people we know, Kyle is a designer, photographer and laser graffiti artist. He plays by his rules and does things his way. Oh sure, we hear that all the time, but who really does it. Actions are stronger than words. Kyle is all about action and new inspiration. Only a couple weeks ago Kyle was the lead designer for the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club for the NHL. Year after year this guys work is amazing and keeps getting better. So, what does he do next? He leaves! Two weeks notice and bang, off he goes to Australia with his camera and laptop with no agenda other than looking for the next creative project or something that inspires him. Okay Kyle, you've got my undivided attention and utmost respect... and you've probably just made about a thousand new groupies because of this blog post.

It isn't everyday someone has the guts to just pick up and leave a great job, great salary with an amazing benefits package with a gym membership and tickets to hockey games/concerts to just go be inspired. Damn, I wish I had your guts. I'm weak, but stronger because of your spirit. Giver Kyle, and send us a post card or tag some laser messages for us in Austrailia.

To all our Australian members who are looking for an Creative or Art director or designer, check out Kyle's amazing work at Sinestro Design Don't worry, I don't think he travels with the Mexican wrestling mask. But it is quite fetching don't you think?

Free Images: Jolly good.

No we haven't been dozing off or forgotten about the free images. We've been crazy busy keywording and getting files prepped for launch. Our apologies for the delay. They will be up in the next day or two.

As we were prepping some images from a few years back we found some great Clip Art illustrations of Santa/Christmas that are great for invites or event specials.

Have you noticed that suddenly everywhere you go Christmas is all "modern and chic"? Not to say that we aren't big fans of the "modern and chic" styles (See pages 7, 51, and 56 for amazing "Free" Xmas photos and vector images ), but, sometimes we just need to go back to basics. We need that classic look. Bring on the jolly dude, a reindeer, some cookies and a snowman to make your holidays all frosty and cool! If cool isn't your thing, then try page 55 for some nice warm holiday images.

Now, if you or the company is having a Christmas party then you probably don't want to miss out on page 57 to witness the ugly side of Christmas! We've got all angles covered for your Christmas images so go do your magic.

These clip art images were created for Stock Archive Inc. by Steve Coffin. Steve has been supplying Stock-Archive.com with clip art Illustrations and audio for years and we would like to tip our magic snowman hat to him for all the great work he has done. Thanks Steve.

Free Images: The first snowfall

You can just taste it. The smell and feeling is in air. But we'll all have to wait for the real stuff. That beautiful white snow is soon about to sprinkle down over us like icing sugar on a birthday cake. How sweet it is. Those covered tree tops and fluffy powdered slopes are only a dream until it snows. Trust us, we feel your pain. But it is almost here. Until then, here are some great images that will tease you until the real stuff is here.

These great images were captured by one of our fantastic interns Steve Capyk who built some amazing stock elements for us while working with us on his internship. There are plenty more great skiing and snowboarding shots to come once the site launches.

Free images: Naughty or nice.

Well who cares if you've been naughty or nice this year. Santa is in your back pocket early this year. We've had lots of requests for Santa and festive photos. We'll start with some santa shots for this week as we know you've got campaigns to prepare for your clients. Why pay credits for photos of santa when they are for free here. Huh... what a novel idea. Tell your friends you found the north pole and tell them to come here if they want their photo with Santa.

Free images: Why so blue?

My reason for being blue is that I just got out of surgery. It was painful to sit and select the free images but I got'er done. Hope you dig them and can use them well in your projects. While I'm not guaranteeing anything at this point... the site "Soft launch" is coming up. Our fingers are crossed and hope your are two. Crappy time to have surgery but what ever lets get this site up and rolling. Enjoy. I'm going to lie down as per the doctors suggestion.

Hero > Madoka Nemoto

A few weeks late on the "Hero" profile but well worth the wait.

We thought we'd slice together a little preview to really give you the feeling and mood of these images. You really need to watch the video to truly appreciate the uncomfortable elegance these amazing images emit. So beautiful yet so edgy and dark. Madoka captures intense energy in her shots and we are still trying to figure out how she does it. Madoka is a very talented photographer that lives in Chiba, Japan. We spotted Madoka at the Algonquin College photography exhibit. While she was leaving back to Japan after school we were lucky that she was interested in coming to visit and shoot with us as part of our internship program. We were fortunate to have her intern with us here in Canada. Madoka is continuing to produce content for Stock-Archive.com from Japan. It is a pleasure to work with this amazing talent. Rock on Madoka!

You can see and access some of the free images in our archive that Madoka shot for www.Stock-Archive.com on pages 94, 99 and some other pages spaced out throughout the free promotional images on the site. Enjoy.
